Google Allo update with message reactions released
Google’s head of product for its Allo messaging service, Amit Fulay, has announced the release of the latest version of the app.
Allo version 14 introduces message reactions, allowing you to register a response to a message when a full reply isn’t needed.
Currently only a “like” reaction appears to be available, accessible by tapping a heart icon in the bottom-left of a message.
If there is more than one like on a message, a small counter is displayed next to it.
The new version of Allo is rolling out through the Play Store, and 9to5Google reported that features such as the web app are still a few more weeks away.
