Xiaomi launches Mi Mix 2 with almost bezel-less display
Xiaomi has launched its latest high-end smartphone, the Mi Mix 2.
The device sports a slightly smaller display than its predecessor, but features an almost bezel-less design.
The design grants the Mi Mix 2 an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.5%, the highest on any smartphone to date, said the company.
The fingerprint sensor remains at the rear of the device and is positioned in the centre of the chassis – below the rear camera.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6GB of RAM, and runs on Android 7.0.
The Mi Mix 2 will be available from 15 September and will launch in markets outside of China.
A special edition of the device with a ceramic unibody will also be available, and features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
