Pixel 2 XL possibly revealed in FCC filing

A filing for a device with the code ZNFG011C has arrived at the FCC in the US, which 9to5Google reports is likely the Pixel 2 XL.

The filing reveals that LG will manufacture the device.

According to the report, there are several reasons to suspect the filing is the Pixel 2 XL. Firstly, the device’s FCC code begins with “G” – HTC did the same for the Pixel and Pixel XL, as well as its filing for the Pixel 2.

The code also follows the same pattern as the one HTC used for the Pixel 2, which is G011A.

9to5Google reported that Google has hinted at a launch event on 4 October, where the device is expected to be unveiled.
