Apple fires engineer after daughter posts iPhone X video

Apple has fired an engineer after his daughter posted a video of his iPhone X online.

The video showed a pre-release version of the device and was recorded in an Apple employee cafeteria.

Engadget reported that Apple has a prohibition on recording video on its campus.

“I have no idea how my video got so much attention considering how many other iPhone X videos there are out there from other YouTubers,” said Brooke Amelia Peterson.

“At the end of the day, when you work for Apple, it doesn’t matter how good of a person you are, if you break a rule they just have no tolerance.”

Peterson said Apple asked her to take the video down, which she did, but her father was fired for violating Apple’s policy. She said her and her father were not bitter at the company over the incident.
