HTC to start making dual-camera smartphones

HTC President Chialin Chang confirmed they will release dual-camera smartphones in 2018, reported Engadget.

“We’ll definitely be releasing a dual-camera phone next year, but we’ll need to figure out how to make this feature stand out,” said Chang.

HTC previously released a number of dual-camera devices, but dropped the design with the launch of its newer smartphones.

Manufacturers like Apple, Huawei, and LG have since adopted a dual-camera design on their high-end devices.

HTC will reportedly launch five or six new smartphones in 2018, with some models aimed at the mid-range market.
