Samsung Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 rollout resumed

Samsung has resumed the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Galaxy S8, following the company’s decision to pause the update.

SamMobile reported that Samsung halted its Android 8.0 update for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ due to “unexpected rebooting experienced by some users”.

According to the publication, Samsung developed a new firmware version for the Galaxy S8 update, which is now rolling out.

“The firmware update file weighs in at just over 530MB for those who are already on Android 8.0,” stated SamMobile.
