Sony has launched its Xperia XZ2 smartphone in South Africa, which will sell for R13,499.
The company stated that the device offers great battery performance, and can run for 36 hours without charging.
It packs a 5.7-inch HDR display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, wireless charging, and a USB Type-C port.
The Xperia XZ2 also sports a “dynamic vibration system”, which intelligently turns audio signals into vibrations – offering added immersion when consuming media, said Sony.
Slow-motion video recording at 960 frames per second, at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, is an additional feature punted by the company.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is available for cash purchase from retailers nationwide. It is also available on contract, including:
