New Apple iPhone code names leaked – and there’s 4 of them

Apple’s line-up of new iPhones, set to launch later this year, have received code names – which have now been leaked online.

This is according to a report by Softpedia News, which stated that the code names of Apple’s 2018 iPhones are:

  • 801
  • 802
  • 803
  • 804

With four code names, and industry sources stating that only three new models are due to be released, this could mean a special edition or special version of an iPhone model is planned.

“This special version could be the dual-SIM iPhone that some people with knowledge of the matter have hinted at,” stated the report.

The report further stated that the dual-SIM version may only be sold in specific markets – likely China.

This follows a report that Apple will launch a “cheap and colourful” iPhone as part of its new line-up.
