TCL Communication, which builds phones under the Alcatel and BlackBerry brands, is developing a Palm-branded Android smartphone codenamed “Pepito,” Android Police reported.
The device will feature a 3.3-inch LCD screen and 800mAh battery, but will boast 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chip.
According to the report, Palm “Pepito” will not have a headphone jack and will come in two colour options: titanium and gold.
For the operating system, the device will run on Android 8.1.
No pricing or launch information for the Palm-branded smartphone is available, although the report stated it will launch on the Verizon network in the United States.
