Samsung Galaxy S4 teaser video

Photos of a new Samsung device have been uploaded to the Chinese forum 52 Samsung, The Verge is reporting, possibly revealing a Chinese variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
According to Sammy Hub, from where The Verge sourced its information, the forum poster claims that the pictured device is a dual SIM model for China Unicom.
Both The Verge and Sammy Hub warned that Samsung is known to use different designs for its devices to avoid the final design from leaking.

The Verge pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy S3 was leaked in dummy boxes that concealed the final design and that these purported “leaked” photographs don’t show an obviously fake outer shell.
However, there is a chance that Samsung could have crafted a false casing for testing purposes, or that this forum post is an elaborate hoax.

Samsung released a new video teasing its upcoming “Samsung Unpacked” event in New York on 14 March 2013.
The video is littered with references to the number “4”, and the title “Be ready 4 The Next Galaxy” hints heavily at the launch announcement of Samsung’s new Galaxy smartphone.
