New Samsung Galaxy smartphones unveiled in SA

Samsung has launched two new Galaxy devices at its 2013 Africa forum today (13 March 2013): a dual-SIM smartphone and active outdoor lifestyle smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is a dual-SIM device targetted at “people who have busy lives and are always trying to move between their work and personal mobile devices,” Samsung said.
The device features a 5-inch display, a bigger keyboard and runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
The device also features Samsung’s Smart technology, including AllShare Play, S-Voice, and SmartStay.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is a smartphone targeted at “active explorers” who enjoy outdoor lifestyles.
The device is built with added durability, being sand and dust proof, and water resistant to a depth of 1 meter.
“You can now take photos under water with the direct camera key, hold on tight to your device with the strap holder and not worry about dropping your phone as the battery cover lock gives added protection,” Samsung said in a statement.
