Galaxy S4 on-site next business day warranty
South African technology product distributor, Pinnacle Africa recently announced that it would exclusively offer 2 year on-site next business day warranties on Samsung products it supplies.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 Android flagship from the Korean electronics giant is among the products distributed by Pinnacle Africa.
Samsung SA currently offers a minimum 2 year carry-in warranty on its product line, including tablets and smartphones. Should anything go wrong with these products, they can be returned to the reseller or nearest Samsung Service Centre.
According to Pinnacle, contact details for support via phone or web are all clearly printed on this warranty card sticker which is clearly applied on all Samsung products procured from any of its accredited retailers and resellers.
“If there is no sticker on the product being purchased, the reseller has not procured it from Pinnacle Africa and therefore the warranty will not apply,” the distributor said.
Asked where potential buyers can find out which resellers are accredited by Pinnacle Africa, the company directed us to the “Where to Buy” section on its website.
“Pinnacle Africa literally has thousands of resellers across the country,” a spokesperson told MyBroadband, “so it really depends on where you need a reseller.”
Pinnacle also noted that warranties should be registered on the Infrasol website.
