Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom announced

Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, an Android smartphone with a 10x optical zoom camera, in a press statement today (12 June 2013).
The Korean electronics giant said that the device would not only feature an optical zoom lens, but also a 16 megapixel (MP) CMOS sensor, optical image stabilisation, and a Xenon flash.
According to Samsung the device will also feature the “Zoom Ring”, which lets users twist to capture and share a photo via MMS in the middle of a call, or get shortcut access to certain camera features.
The Zoom Ring will also offer “easy-to-operate digital” camera zoom controls, Samsung said.
Based on the spec sheets and photos provided by Samsung, the Galaxy S4 Zoom looks like it is based on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
It features a smaller, 4.3-inch 540×960 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of storage space, 1.5GB RAM, and promises support for Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks in certain markets.
