While no pre-order date for the iPhone 5s was announced, both devices are set to launch on 20 September 2013 in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and the UK.

Asked for comment on the local availability of the new iPhones, a spokesperson for Core Group, the official distributor of Apple products in South Africa, said that they are awaiting confirmation on local availability. “As soon as we have more to share, we will update you,” Core said.
MTN said that all queries pertaining to the new iPhones should be directed at Apple PR.

Update: Cell C has told MyBroadband that they are planning on ranging both devices, but said that they can’t provide any details at this stage.
