Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch date, pricing for SA

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone for the South African market at an event in Cape Town on Thursday, 26 September 2013.
The device has a recommended retail price of R8,999 and will go on sale in South Africa from Friday, 27 September 2013, Samsung revealed. The LTE version of the device will also go on sale on 27 September.
This confirms earlier information from Vodacom that the Galaxy Note 3 would be available in South Africa by the end of September 2013.
Cell C and MTN have also confirmed their plans to offer the device, though the operators have yet to confirm launch dates and pricing.
It has been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will carry a similar “accidental damage from handling” warranty as the Samsung Galaxy S4 in South Africa. Samsung said there are more details to the warranty this time, and more information will follow soon.
