Nokia Lumia 1020 launched in South Africa
Nokia announced at a press event in Johannesburg on Thursday, 7 November 2013, that it has launched the Lumia 1020 in South Africa.
Vodacom had previously revealed that it plans to offer the Nokia Lumia 1020 during November.
According to a Nokia spokesperson, the Lumia 1020 will be available on Vodacom‘s Smart S contract for R399 per month and has a recommended retail price of R9,499.
Nokia officially unveiled the Lumia 1020 at an event in New York on 11 July 2013, with product demonstrations focussing heavily on the capabilities of the 41-megapixel camera built into the device.
