Nexus 5 from FNB in South Africa – update

First National Bank (FNB) is in talks to offer the Google Nexus 5 smartphone, but FNB head of smart devices Kartik Mistry said they can not confirm availability of the device.
Mistry told MyBroadband at the start of November 2013 that FNB is in discussions to launch the Nexus 5 on the FNB Smart Device offer.
He also said that they would offer the new PS4 from Sony and Xbox One from Microsoft when the video game consoles become available in South Africa.
FNB’s Smart Device offer is available to the bank’s cheque account holders and private banking customers.
Under the terms of the offer, FNB clients are able to buy up to 4 devices, with the exception of the iPhone which is restricted to 1 per customer, on a 24-month payment plan from the bank.
