Mango flights for R1 with new app

Mango launched its Windows 8.1 app this week, and in celebration is offering R1 flights through the service.

“It is always exciting to be able to add value to users’ lives which is exactly what the R1 flights offer does,” said Mango.

The R1 sale is only available on the Mango app on Windows 8.1 devices. The sale will run until 31 May 2015, and for travel until the end of June 2015.

Mango said terms and conditions apply, including the following:

• 10,000 seats available on selected flights on a first come, first served basis.
• No group bookings available on promotional fares.
• Special events, long weekends (Fridays and return Sundays) and peak flights are excluded.
• Can only be booked via Mango Windows Mobi application.
• Mango App only available on Windows and Windows Phone 8.1 devices.
• Not available through call centre, website, or any other channel.
• Selling period : 1 May – 31 May 2015.
• Travel period : 1 May – 30 Jun 2015.
• Return bookings only, of which only one sector can be R1. No combination of any other promotional fare, second sector will be on published fare.
• R1 base fare only, excluding any taxes. Normal taxes will apply on all R1 fare bookings.
• Mango normal names/booking changes fees will apply.
