Firefox Test Pilot launched

Firefox has unveiled Test Pilot, which allows users to test new features and provide feedback to the company to help improve the browser.

To enable Test Pilot, users must create a Firefox Account or sign in to the Firefox website, get the Test Pilot Add-On, and enable experimental features.

Users can test the following features:

  • Activity Stream – A visual history feed and a re-imagined home page make it easier to find what you’re looking for in Firefox.
  • Tab Centre – The ability to move tabs from the top of the browser to the side.
  • Universal Search – Get recommendations for the best sites on the web as you type in the Awesome Bar.

Test Pilot is available for Firefox on Windows, OS X, and Linux.
