Microsoft Office 365 getting major upgrade
Microsoft has announced several new features which will be added to Office 365 as part of its July 2016 update.
According to the Office Blog, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook are set to benefit from the update.
New features coming include:
- Word Researcher – help users find reliable sources of information by using the Bing Knowledge Graph. Available on mobile devices and PC.
- Word Editor – improvements to spellchecker and thesaurus to improve a user’s writing. A gold line under text will be introduced to indicate writing style clarity.
- PowerPoint Zoom – lets users create interactive, non-linear presentations.
- Outlook Focused Inbox – separates a user’s inbox into two tabs: one for important emails and one for everything else.
Outlook 365 and Outlook for PC and Mac are also getting @mentions.
