Unlock Chrome OS with a PIN

Google Chrome

Google has launched an experimental feature for Chrome OS which allows users to unlock their system using a PIN.

The feature is part of a Chrome OS developer update, and was detailed by a Google employee.

To access the feature, users must:

Enable the flag chrome://flags/#quick-unlock-pin, restart Chrome, and go to Chrome Material Design settings page for now to set up your Lock Screen PIN in the new “Screen Lock” section.

When it’s done, lock your screen with 🔍 + L and enjoy the new unlock experience!

“Note that Quick Unlock settings will also land in the regular Chrome settings page soon,” stated the post.
