Chrome is killing Internet Explorer and Safari
The latest NetMarketShare statistics show that Chrome continues to win desktop market share from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Apple’s Safari.
According to the February 2017 statistics, Chrome is currently used by 58.53% of Internet users – up from 41.71% in April 2016.
Internet Explorer is on 19.17% and Firefox on 11.68%.
While Chrome was the biggest winner over the past year, the biggest losers were Internet Explorer and Safari.
Internet Explorer’s market share dropped from 36.61% in April 2016 to the current 19.17%, while Safari’s declined from 4.47% to 3.45%.
