Google testing a Search Lite app for users with slow Internet

Google is testing a new Search Lite app for Android in the Indonesian market, reported Android Police.

The Search Lite app aims to improve Google Search performance for users living in countries with slow Internet connections.

Search Lite will reportedly support offline features and use less data than its standard conterpart.

The app is still in an experimental phase and may change before it is released to the public, stated the report.

Google’s Search Lite app is currently only available to test on the Play Store for users in Indonesia
