Windows 10 preview build improves HDR settings
Microsoft has released a new preview build of Windows 10, and has lifted the block on AMD-based PCs.
The build adds a slider to adjust the brightness of standard dynamic range content on monitors capable of high dynamic range.
“This is one of the improvements to HDR image quality that we have planned based on feedback from Insiders,” said Microsoft.
Microsoft also highlighted changes to Windows 10’s input system. Shape writing is now available on its touch keyboard while in wide mode.
It has also added an insertion and commit gesture to its handwriting input.
To insert a space between characters, you may now draw a caret between them. To remove a space, you may draw a half-circle backwards from the rightmost character.
