Pixelmator Pro now on Mac

The Pixelmator Team has released Pixelmator Pro, a new Mac app that promises to “redefine image editing on the Mac”.

Pixelmator Pro 1.0 provides professional-grade editing tools, a single-window interface, GPU-powered image editing tools, and machine learning-enhanced editing features.

Designed exclusively for Mac, Pixelmator Pro uses the Mac’s GPU in tandem with technologies like Metal 2, Core Image, and OpenGL.

Pixelmator Pro is built with Swift 4 and includes the following features:

• Full RAW support, including multiple RAW layers.
• HEIF file format compatibility.
• Support for Adobe Photoshop images.
• Support for iCloud.
• Metal 2-powered painting tools and dual-texture brushes.

Pixelmator Pro 1.0 is available from the App Store for $59.99.
