Nvidia has announced it is ending GeForce support for 32-bit operating systems.
“Game Ready Driver upgrades, including performance enhancements, new features, and bug fixes, will be available only on 64-bit operating systems,” said Nvidia.
The change is effective from April 2018, it added.
“Critical security updates will be provided for 32-bit operating systems through January 2019.”
The operating systems affected include:
- Windows 7
- Windows 8/8.1
- Windows 10
Software upgrades with new features, security updates, and bug fixes for the GeForce Experience will also only be available on Windows 64-bit operating systems.
