Python climbing most popular programming languages list

According to the Tiobe Index for September 2018, Java, C, and Python are the most popular programming languages in the world.

Other popular languages include Visual Basic .NET and C++, which has just lost its third-place spot in the rankings to Python.

Tiobe noted that this is the first time in history that Python has entered the top three programming languages in the Tiobe rankings.

Tiobe stated that Python’s significant increase in popularity could be attributed to its accessibility and ease-of-use.

The PYPL rankings showed Python at the top of its list, followed by Java and JavaScript.
