DiData wins two Microsoft awards
The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.
The first award Dimension Data was recognised for was the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Active Directory and Identity Management Partner of the Year.
The award honours partners that have practices with proven proficiency in implementing solutions based on the Microsoft IDA technologies (Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Integration Server, Rights Management Services, Active Directory Federation Services).
"Dimension Data has proven proficiency in implementing solutions based on the Microsoft Identity and Access solutions using technologies such as Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Identity Lifecycle Manager, Active Directory Certificate Services, and Rights Management Services.
"Dimension Data created a solution for the VOIP world that offers a unique way to connect Microsoft and Cisco through Active Directory and Identity Lifecycle manager. The solution could apply to several different types of organisations and adds significant value to the customers," said Peter Boit, vice president, Enterprise Partner Sales, Microsoft Corp.
The second award was the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Exchange Migration and Deployment Partner of the year.
The award recognises partners with proven expertise in responding to the challenges of providing secure, reliable, anytime, anywhere access to email.
"Dimension Data utilised not only Exchange 2007, but the entire Microsoft Unified Communications and Collaboration stack as well as their telephony integration expertise to provide clients with the ability to run their business in real time. Their customer focus and creativity, such as building out VPCs for piloting, measuring benefits quantitatively, and using the Exchange Business Value Tool, is an example that others should follow."
