2026 MyBroadband Awards — Codehesion wins Best Software Development Company
Codehesion has won the 2026 MyBroadband Award for Best Software Development Company.
To qualify for this award, a software development company must boast high customer satisfaction rates, a reputation as an innovator, and an impressive list of successful projects.
Codehesion met all these requirements, and stood out for its excellence in a wide range of software development categories, including technical architecture, UX, business analysis, QA, project management, DevOps, and much more.
“It’s a huge honour,” said Codehesion founder and CEO Hector Beyers.
“Being named alongside brands like MTN for best MNO and Afrihost for best ISP‚ and being that brand in the software development industry‚ is something we don’t take lightly.”
“It validates the standard we’ve set and it gives us a bigger platform to pursue what we’re really here to do.”
This marks the third consecutive year that Codehesion has earned this prestigious award.
Beyers said that he is extremely proud of this achievement as the software industry has changed dramatically over this period.
“Winning this award three years running means we’ve kept pace with that change while maintaining the engineering quality and client experience that earned it in the first place,” said Beyers.

Codehesion’s success is reflected in its business growth, with both its team and its revenue increasing by 50% over the past year.
The company has also invested heavily into AI-augmented delivery, which Beyers explained allows for faster delivery without compromising on quality.
“Last year, we moved from experimenting with AI to embedding it across our delivery process,” said Beyers.
“Every project now benefits from AI-accelerated development, but with advanced engineering judgment guiding every decision.”
Impressive growth
Since being founded in 2018, Codehesion has delivered nearly 100 projects, and the complexity of these projects has increased significantly.
Once known primarily as a mobile app development company, its work now typically involves complex system integrations, legacy platform rescues, and multi-platform architectures.
This business shift has seen the company onboard large enterprises, including several prominent JSE-listed companies.
“There’s a clear shift happening where large enterprises are realising that their internal IT departments and the big traditional consultancies aren’t built for speed,” said Beyers.
“They need a partner that can move fast without cutting corners.”
When asked to summarise Codehesion’s 2026 award-winning performance into a single sentence, Beyers’ answer was simple.
