Snapseed app a hit
The Snapseed app for smartphones and tablets allows amateur photographers to edit their photos almost as extensively as they could on many full-size PC photo editing programmes.
Previously only available for iOS devices, the free app can now be downloaded for Android tablets and smartphones too. Features include a range of filters and automatic image correction.
Users can also crop photos and change their brightness and colours – either for the entire photo or just part of it.
The finished product can be uploaded directly to a variety of social networks.
Because of the larger screen the app works better on a tablet than on a smartphone.
