BBM for Windows Phone coming to Nokia Lumia
Nokia boss Stephen Elop announced on a stage at Mobile World Congress on Monday (24 February 2014) that their Lumia smartphones would be getting BlackBerry Messenger (BBM).
Until now, BBM was only available to Android BlackBerry, and iPhone users.
BlackBerry first launched the Android and iPhone ports of its instant messaging service during October 2013 after numerous delays.
The BBM Voice and BBM Channels features available in the BlackBerry-specific version of BBM were also recently launched in the Android and iOS versions of the app.
