Sleekgeek has reached the milestone of 15,000 Facebook members after launching 18 months ago.
Sleekgeek was founded by former IT executive Elan Lohmann, aimed at helping IT professionals and other interested individuals to lose weight and improve their health.
Lohmann describes Sleekgeek as a social community which provides guidance, advice, support and motivation for individuals to lose weight, become fit, and create a ‘sustainable lifestyle’. Sleekgeek’s aim is to “inspire 100,000 South Africans to live a healthy lifestyle”.
“People from all walks of life are welcomed into the group, no matter what diet plan or fitness regime they adopt, and they are finding the support they need from our community,” said Lohmann.
