DVD pirates busted
The find was made during a police raid on a house on Thursday evening, Inspector Lorraine van Emmerik said.
The DVDs, a combination of music and movie discs, were found together with a large amount of copied DVD covers, six machines used to cut the DVDs and 13 printers used to make the copies. The goods would be taken to the Booysens police station on Friday.
The bust follows a raid on a house in Mondeor, which led police to Linmeyer.
Those arrested were expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on charges of copyright infringement.
