Cheapest ever Microsoft smartphone
Microsoft announced on 19 March 2015 that it will launch its most affordable Windows smartphone yet, the Lumia 430.
The device will feature dual-SIM support, a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, and run on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
It will also be able to upgrade to Windows 10 when Microsoft launches the new version of its operating system later in the year.
The Lumia 430 will be available in two colours: bright orange and black, and will begin rolling out in select markets in the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus starting in April 2015, and in India towards the end of April 2015.
Excluding taxes and subsidies the new Lumia will cost $70, but pricing may vary by market.
