Download your entire search history with Google

Google now allows users to relive all their late-night clandestine web searches thanks to its Web History download function.

By visiting Google’s Web History section and selecting “download” from the settings drop-down menu, the search engine will provide you with a list of everything you have ever searched while using your Google account.

“When you download your past searches, a copy of your history will be saved securely to the Takeout folder in Google Drive. You can download the files to your computer if you want a copy on your computer,” said Google.

Google warned that users should not download the archive onto public computers, as it will contain “sensitive data” – like which 90’s boy band you were into.

As one commentator put it: you are what you surf.
