MyBroadband cracks 10 million posts

This week MyBroadband became the first Internet forum in South Africa to pass 10 million posts, making it one of the largest online communities the country has ever seen.

MyBroadband was started in July 2003, initially known as MyADSL, with the aim of creating an online community that worked together to improve broadband in South Africa.

Over the next 13 years the website changed significantly, and is now South Africa’s largest IT news website and online community – attracting over 1.5 million unique SA readers per month.

To celebrate the 10 million post milestone, MyBroadband held forum get-togethers in Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth on 16 April.

We also launched a MyBroadband 10 Million Post competition, where we are giving away R10,000 cash and other cool prizes [You can enter the competition here].

A big thanks to all our great members for sharing their knowledge so freely, and who are always ready to help with a question or poke fun at a n00b.
