Mo is back!
Vodacom recently unveiled their new Vodafone centric branding, but unlike other international Vodafone operators, Vodacom is keeping its name.
Vodacom CEO Pieter Uys said that consumers can expect a more customer centric company with great customer service, a world class network and improved value propositions.
Despite the changes at the company Uys said that it remains Vodacom, and to entrench this idea Vodacom is using well known Vodacom characters such as Elton and Jan, ‘Yebo Gogo’ actors Michael de Pinna and Bankole Omotoso as well as Mo the Meerkat.
It is however understood that the Mo the Meerkat campaign will not run for too long.
The new advertising campaigns which feature these well known icons forms part of Vodacom multi-million Rand re-branding exercise which started on Friday last week.
