UberEATS expanding to more areas in Gauteng and Cape Town

UberEATS is expanding to new areas in Gauteng and Cape Town from today.

New areas which will be covered by the service include:

  • Roodepoort  – including Cosmo City, Honeydew, RadioKop, and Weltevredenpark.
  • Southern Suburbs – including Rondebosch, Newlands, Claremont, Bishopscourt, and Mowbray.

“The uptake since launch has been phenomenal, Joburg and Cape Town have been great and we’re so excited about the potential,” said Dave Kitley, Restaurant Operation Manager UberEATS South Africa.

Meals can be requested for delivery in Johannesburg from 7:00-22:00 and in Cape Town from 10:00-22:00, seven days a week, with a R20 delivery fee.
