Mango flights delayed and cancelled
Following Mango pilots embarking on a strike over wage increases, several flights across South Africa have been delayed or cancelled.
Mango said it is advising customers and stakeholders about changes to travel arrangements via its Facebook and Twitter pages.
“The airline is doing everything possible to mitigate strike action on its operations,” said Mango.
Mango will provide assistance to all guests who require support, it added.
Trade union Solidarity stated that its members – 95% of the pilots at Mango – went on strike from 05:00 this morning.
