Mozilla reveals browser for Honeycomb tablet PCs
The browser, designed for the Android Honeycomb Operating system, ships with a new interface though it still retains some elements of previous Firefox mobile versions that will be familiar to users of Firefox on mobile phones.
Thanks to the larger screen found on Honeycomb tablet PCs, Mozilla has also added the “Awesomebar” feature to the new Firefox interface.
This “Awesomebar” is present on the left hand side of the tablet PC screen and provides the user with a tabbed menu system similar to browser tabbing on the desktop version of Firefox. These tabbed menus allow for easy navigation around the application settings.
Also present is the ability to scroll through menu and function tabs with your left thumb while you scroll through web content with your right.
