PlayStation Network downtime
PlayStation Network users worldwide are experiencing downtime but according to Sony the service should resume shortly.
PlayStation Network is users worldwide were greeted with the following error message when they tried to log on: “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network. (8002A548).”
Sony responded through twitter, with a tweet from the PlayStation twitter account reading: “We’re aware that some of you are having issues trying to log into PSN. We’re working to resolve the issue, and we’ll update you here.”
This round of PSN downtime is the first since the cyber attacks earlier this year which saw Sony take the PSN service offline for almost a month.
