Apple’s next iPad name revealed?
Apple’s next generation tablet PC will be named the iPad HD rather than the iPad 3.
This is according to Michael Fonfara, a Twitter user who posted an image of a parts list from accessory maker Griffin.
The Griffin parts list is for IntelliCase accessories, and makes multiple references to “iPad HD (3)”.
Fonfara also claims to have confirmed the name with Belkin, another company who produces accessories for Apple products.
Apple is expected to unveil its next-generation tablet PC at a press conference in San Francisco on 7 March.
The new tablet is expected to feature a high-resolution 2048 x 1536 display, LTE connectivity, a thicker aluminium case and a quad-core Apple A6 processor.
Apple is also expected to announce an updated version of its mobile operating system, iOS 5.1.
