Anonymous hackers release their own OS
Anonymous Operations have released the first version of their own operating system, Anonymous-OS.
The system is based on the open-source Linux-based Ubuntu 11.10, and makes use of the Mate desktop environment.
The system comes with pre-installed tools, including Anonymous HOIC, John the Ripper and SQL Poison among others.
The Anonymous-OS Tumblr blog notes that the system is “created for educational purposes, to checking the security of web pages.” Users should “not use any tool to destroy any web page,” it went on.
The OS is free and available immediately for download.
