Nokia’s flagship Lumia 900 Windows Phone device has been taken apart by TechRepublic, who revealed the phones hardware specifications.
The surprisingly low price of the device can be attributed to the hardware inside, which appears underpowered when compared to Android and iOS rivals.
The Lumia 900 features a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2, rather than a dual- or quad-core CPU found in most other high end smartphones.
Other specifications include 512MB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage, and a 3.7″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 800×480.
The handset is also reportedly thicker and heavier than most of its competitors, and features a significantly worse battery life of 7 hours, compared to the 12 hours users can expect out of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
The site did note however that the Lumia 900 has impressive build quality.
