Anonymous develops own Pastebin-like site
Internet hacktivist organisation Anonymous have developed their own data sharing site similar to Pastebin.
This was after reports emerged that Pastebin sometimes comply when law enforcement agency requests came to light.
The site known as AnonPaste is a project by Anonymous and the People Liberation Front, meant to host snippets of code and other messages without any moderation or censorship of the messages.
The site uses a free .tk web address, and allows users to set up a time for the paste to expire. Data is encrypted and decrypted in the browser using 256 bit AES, ensuring that the host server cannot see any of the information included in the pastes.
Anonymous developed AnonPaste in response to comments by Pastebin owner Jeroen Vader, who has claimed that the site does occasionally filter out illegal information that is pasted. Vader also confirmed that the site has complied with law enforcement requests to hand over data.
