Google bringing slide-out keyboard to Nexus?
Google may soon offer a Nexus smartphone with a slide-out keyboard, according to a patent filed by the search giant.
Android chief, Andy Rubin’s name was on the patent, which was pushed through publishing processes faster than normal.
The patent was filed in January and published in April, far quicker than the average turnaround time of 18 months for most published patents.
The patent application notes that the design brings significant space for larger keys, or even a mouse or trackpad that could be found on the keyboard itself.
