Facebook launches “Camera for iOS” app
Facebook has announced a new mobile application that intends to make uploading and viewing Facebook photos faster and easier.
“Camera for iOS” features filters similar to those found in Instagram, and allows users to crop and rotate images before uploading them to Facebook.
Users are also able to upload multiple photos at once and the app allows Apple iOS users to view photos of their friends in a feed-like format.
Facebook previously acquired social photo-sharing app, Instagram for $1 billion shortly before the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Camera for iOS is now available on the Apple App store.
