Apple iPhone 5 images leaked
Images of what appears to be the shell and internals of the iPhone 5 have leaked online.
The images were revealed by tech news site, Boy Genius Report, which claims they were sent in by smartphone repair company, uBreakiFix. Meanwhile, Apple news site, 9to5Mac has obtained different, high-resolution images of the parts.
The images of the reported iPhone 5 body appear to show space for a larger touch screen, with a redone speaker and microphone configuration and a new dock connector found at the bottom of the phone.
The 3.5mm headset jack has moved to the bottom of the device – similar to the placement of the jack on the iPod Touch – and the cut-out display holes for the camera and light sensor look larger than those found on previous iPhone models.
The parts pictured may not be for the final version of the iPhone 5 smartphone, but they do line up with previous rumours concerning device specifications.
