iPhone 5 specs revealed in iOS 6 beta
A beta version of iOS 6, Apple’s next generation smartphone and tablet operating system, has revealed what appears to be the specifications of Apple’s unannounced iPhone 5.
According to a 9to5Mac report, the beta revealed that the iPhone 5 will be equipped with a Samsung-built 5L8950X ARM processor, offering more performance than the S5L8940X found in the iPhone 4S and the S5L8945X in the iPad 3.
The chip’s model number does not indicate whether it will be a dual- or quad-core however.
Other rumours show that the iPhone 5 will feature a 1136 x 640 pixel retinal display that measures either 3.95 or 4 inches diagonally. It will also feature a smaller dock connector than previous iPhones and 1GB of RAM, double the amount found in the iPhone 4S.
