Facebook deeply integrated into Apple iOS 6
Facebook may be built directly into iOS 6, Apple’s next generation operating system for mobile devices.
This is according to a TechCrunch report, which says the integration will allow users to sign in directly to their Facebook account without using the current Facebook app.
Facebook may also be included in the built in sharing options, which currently include social media site Twitter, a feature that was implemented in iOS 5 last year.
Talking at the D10 conference last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook said he had “great respect” for Facebook, and added “I think we can do more with them.”
Apple is expected to provide more details about iOS 6 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which starts on 11 June.
